Quick Zombie Strike dart pic spam

I thought I'd throw up a quick post with some pictures of the Zombie Strike darts I got at SDCC from the Hasbro booth.

Darts in the packaging. Each pack came with five; I got two packs!
More packaging... darts are singled out in the packaging.
Here's one out of the packaging!
An assorted group of darts with the Zombie Strike dart (left to right: Zombie Strike dart, Elite Dart, Whistler Dart, Streamline Dart)

The money shot: the Zombie Strike dart compared to the Elite Dart.
Some quick thoughts on Zombie Strike darts compared to Elite Darts... yeah they seem to be the same exact thing. At first I thought the Zombie Strike dart was slightly longer than the Elite Dart, but this was due to me just misaligning the bottoms with other images.

The Zombie Strike darts that were given out at Comic Con were "J" type darts. It seems that other J-type darts (at least Elite Dart-wise) come packaged in refill packs and product sets. I'm not sure if these fair better than other dart letter types.
And to end it off, some Zombie Strike darts in my Firestrike.
Originally I was going to end this video with a firing test/demo that compared the Zombie Strike darts with the Elite Darts, but it looks like that will have to wait for another day.

  2. I like the packaging for these... kind of gives it the waterproof seal for real ammo...

Do you know if they glow-in-the-dark?

    1. No, Zombie Strike darts don't glow in the dark. There'll be a disc blaster that charges glow-in-the-dark ammo, but there isn't a glow-in-the-dark dart blaster under the series... yet possibly. I can see them releasing a glow-in-the-dark dart blaster down the line if the series is popular enough.
